It’s an interesting juxtaposition – one that’s certainly worth 15 minutes of your time. “Weed Rage” encapsulates the prototypical twenty-something rage, in this case, induced by a weed coma. Despite the marijuana haze, it’s a surprisingly upbeat guitar-driven number about almost getting in a fight, but bailing at just the right time. Title-track “Bit” is also an EP highlight; again, West Ferry utilizes bright, major chords, complimentary lead guitar riffs, and some bass solo theatrics to get[...]

p0st3rb0y Debuts Video For “everything sad”

Non-binary Toronto multimedia and queer noise artist p0st3rb0y (aka Kenton Smith) has released a video for “Everything Sad” that’s gritty, avant-garde, and cathartic… all at the same time. Directed, shot and edited by Sean Keenan, “Everything Sad” feels like performance art, with our protagonist doing his thing in a cold and hostile world and paying some harsh dues in the process against DIY pixilated psychedelic backdrops and out in the streets and alleyways of TO. “Everything Sad” is off of p0st3rb0y’s third EP, Get Fucked, a piledriving 10 minutes of corrosively entropic electronica that crushes hard, and makes your inner ears feel real funny, and you can check out the video below.

I was particularly excited to find one of my idols – Andy Partridge of XTC – hosting an episode, and felt there was a pop song sitting in that feeling.” Keep up with Rosemary’s goings-on via her IG.
