With the weight of a leaf, Carrie Wagner from the Brooklyn-based duo Silver Liz effortlessly floats over Matt Wagner’s gentle guitar strums. The married couple is doing what any artist dreams of doing and they’re making beautiful works of art together, most recently with their single “Thousand.” The serine track is the second single for their (so far) untitled sophomore album to be released later in the year of 2022. The final 30 seconds of “Thousand” are covered in layer upon layer of melody, giving off sounds of beautiful, effected destruction.
