The alt-rock band from Rochester by the name of Lower Expectations raised the bar on their latest offering, “Talking To Myself.” The lyrics “when I tell you it’ll be alright, I’m talking to myself,” hit me harder than a train. The righteous rock tune explores the idea of fighting the façade you bring upon your everyday life. It’s a message that sounds comforting coming from someone else; we have Lower Expectations to thank for that.
