Third Eye Blind at Artpark (7/3/19)

Last Wednesday, Third Eye Blind brought their Summer Gods 2019 tour to Artpark in Lewiston.  The heat did not deter the eager crowd, as the outdoor amphitheater seriously filled filled out over the course of the blistering day. Around 6pm, Ra Ra Riot set things into motion with a short, solid set which definitely got the crowd warmed up. Jimmy Eat World then took the stage, playing a career spanning set which heavily focused on their classic 2001 record, Bleed American. It’s safe to say that Jimmy Eat World’s hit filled set was definitely a highlight of the night.  Third Eye Blind also took the same approach. Goo Goo Dolls One Of Several ’90s Bands On Tour This Summer

Dedicated music fans know that most bands that even reach a moderate level of success don’t stop touring if they can help it. This is particularly true now that streaming accounts for most of people’s music acquisition and it’s harder for bands to make money on singles or album sales. Tours bring in the cash, so most bands that are able to are going to stay on the road as long as they can. This is actually pretty cool for fans of artists and groups from past decades. Sure, it can be kind of sad to catch a group past its prime, but it’s equally awesome to see your favorite artists long after you thought you’d have the chance catch them again. Kerfuffle Before Christmas at the First Niagara Center (12/18/2015)

Last Friday, Alternative Buffalo hosted their second annual holiday concert, The Kerfufffle Before Christmas. This year’s show featured many notable artists  – Wolf Alice, Third Eye Blind, Matt and Kim, and Sublime tribute band, Sublime with Rome along with some radio up-and-comers SomeKindaWonderful and BØRNS sprinkled in there for good measure.  Check out the photos we snapped of radio station’s mega-holiday party.
