College rock project Hush Machine by the hand of Kansas’ Sam Boatright comes wafting through the haze in his latest track “Batter Up.” Hush Machine finds its origins in 2013 when in Boatright’s final years of high school. Through waves of fuzzy vocals, meandering guitar lines, and a supportive bass counterpart, Boatright muses over youthful indiscretions through the use of baseball analogies in “Batter Up”. All this with a sun-soaked tint of summers past where there were minimal worries and nothing but time. This track comes from Hush Machine’s self-titled album recently released by Jigsaw Records on April 21st.
