We’ve been enjoying the chunky emo stylings of Eli Dasilva as of late, specifically his latest offering, “Don’t Tell Me.” Dasilva says that during the writing/recording process of bringing this song into the world, Pinkerton-era Weezer was a huge inspiration – with big chunky rhythm guitars, fun guitar leads, and an effervescent (but self-deprecating) mumble-esque approach to his lyrics, that makes a ton of sense. Sometimes you just need a song with big distorted guitars to get your blood flowing and we urge you to give Dasilva’s a try.

“Don’t Tell Me” is available now via Soundcloud (below) and Spotify.
