The Doom Tomb – “Un-Miserable”
A ragtag group of LA misfits make up The Doom Tomb, led by songwriter Mike Simmons. Their tune “Un-Miserable” takes the greatest aspects of late 80s jangle and college rock and gives it a sunny, California disposition. This particular track is reminiscent of The Replacements or REM, showcasing distinct slacker vocals over chorus-laden, shimmery guitars.
