Hamilton-based quartet Basement Revolver are no strangers to buffaBLOG – we’ve already shown our love for three (!) of their previous singles, “Baby;” “Tree Trunks;” and “Wax and Digital.” They’re back again with their unique brand of slow-burn shoegaze, this time with a song called “Skin.” With their trademark reverb-soaked sound, BR dive into themes of body image and mental health with a chorus refrain that’s stunning in it’s simplicity. The brooding refrain of “I want to feel at home in my skin, in my skin” has been haunting us for weeks.
