Visual artist, producer, and composer The1FS is no stranger to buffaBLOG’s pages. The NYC-based interdisciplinary artist took a break from his work with brands like GTA and Adult Swim to drop another fuego boom bap single with the help of his vocal counterpart, MoonChld Washington.

“Vampire Hunter D” channels inspirations from the best-selling Japanese franchise as The1FS build up an essential boom bap beat, with crispy drums, swirling strings and tasteful scratches. Moonchld takes the mic to add more imagery to the spine of the cut. Check out the link directly to The1FS’ Instagram page to see the full package come together.

If you’re into “Vampire Hunter D,” make sure you check out more from The1FS wherever you get your music rocks off. If it’s Spotify, may I recommend a playlist? Full of underground hip hop? It’d be foolish for me not to. Check it out here and find more great up and coming artists.
