Bedroom-pop act young friend (aka songwriter Drew Tarves) knows how to blend genre to his advantage. Whether it’s the grungy guitars, squiggly keyboard textures, or smartly-composed 2022-flavored percussion, “ENDLESS” could fit on just about any playlist. At only 22-years-old, the wunderkind uses the age old topic of lost young love to his advantage – about the song, he says:
