Tymain Robbins – “Being Black Is Scary”

North Carolina’s very own Tymain Robbins decided to touch on a topic that the city of Buffalo is still recovering from. To say May 14th was devastating would be an understatement; the North Carolina MC brought tears to my eyes in a very powerful way. “Being Black Is Scary” focuses on racism in America and its focal point is Buffalo. Tymain Robbins uses several clips from the breaking news for the intro, the lyrics laid down are unapologetically real, his delivery is 10/10 and this is a message people must hear. “Being Black Is Scary” also features a music video of the camera slowly zooming in on Tymain Robbins as he prophetically depicts what happened not only on May 14th, but every day in America.
