Tarn PK – “Cry Baby”

Straight to your ears from Wellington, New Zealand, Tarn PK (the moniker of Tarn Puentener-King) shows off his latest track “Cry Baby.” I’m always a sucker for a well-crafted pop track and “Cry Baby” is no exception. Going with a “less is more” approach, the synth and drums play off each other to great effect and let Tarn PK’s catchy vocals do the heavy lifting. Speaking to the track, Tarn had this to say:

“[‘Cry Baby] came from a time of feeling like I wasn’t moving forward and thinking, what am I going to do about this….a big part for me was trying to detach from my expectations and just appreciate things as they currently are.”

You can hear it below from Soundcloud, Spotify, or check out the music video on YouTube (which is more or less a visualizer except Tarn PK in a daze in an elevator). Be sure to follow his IG to keep on with his comings and goings.
