G-Eazy at Darien Lake (08/24/18)

Last Friday, Darien Lake was treated to a packed hip hop show filled with both superstars and up and coming artists.  Over the course of the night, the amphitheater filled up to capacity, while P-Lo, YBN Nahmir, Murda Beatz, Ty Dolla $ign, Lil Uzi Vert, and G-Eazy all performed high energy sets. There was a little something for everyone, and the crowd seemed head over heels while the artists played their chart topping hits. If you’re looking for some last minute Friday plans, Darien Lake might be your best bet. Look no further if you’re a fan of hip hop, as Darien Lake’s outdoor amipthetear is hosting a star studded lineup tonight. The show will be headlined by chart topping Oakland pop rap star G-Eazy, and will also feature four other sets. Up and comer P-Lo will kick things off, followed by a DJ set by producer to the mega stars, Murda Beatz. Ty Dolla $ign and Lil Uzi Vert will also perform full sets.  Every artist on the bill has released a project within the past year, so expect to hear some new material. Tickets can be found relatively cheap on Livenation’s website, and all ticket purchases include admission to the amusement park for the day. Not a bad deal. Imagine Dragons at KeyBank Center (11/01/17)

This past Wednesday, the absolutely massive indie/pop crossover group, Imagine Dragons, brought their immense Evolve World Tour to Buffalo.   While the tour also featured K Flay and Grouplove, who have both played in Buffalo within the past few months, this was Imagine Dragons’ first time in Buffalo in a couple years, which led to a totally packed KeyBank Center.  Imagine Dragons played through a 20 song set list touching on all three of their studio records, including a cover of Tom Petty’s “Running Down a Dream.” K Flay and Grouplove did a great job of heating the crowd up for their intense stage show, making for a night to remember.  Check out some photos from the night below, shot by blog photographer, Brendan O’Connor.
