Big shoegazy vibes coming out of Canadian act Sleepy Gonzales – this Surrey BC quartet lays it on thick in “Sally on the Avenue.” For five minutes and 34 seconds of pure bliss, gigantic tape-aged guitar solos compliment gauzy vocals and big hazy atmospherics. Fans of dreamy bands like Slowdive or Beach House will dig this, but this one is so nuanced, it’s best just to hear for yourself.
