Samuel Ben – “Blossom In Blue”

---

Samuel Ben looked to explore nostalgia and introspection with an indietronica approach… It’s the definition of vague ambition with a pretty nebulous goal, but we think he nailed it (whatever “it” is) on “Blossom In Blue.” The song is as driven by odd-but-familiar noises as it is by buzzing synth textures and lo-fi, bedroom-ish instrumentals… And there are no distinguishable lyrics to be found, but if we could decipher what the otherworldly vocals were saying here, we think it would be something profound about 1994 or something. Tubular.
