Puppy Teeth – “Paranoid”

Hey, remember that stupid thing you said like 12 years ago? Me too, and so does everyone else.

 

Just kidding (kinda), but Puppy Teeth encapsulate our collective shame on their latest offering, “Paranoid.” There’s lots to enjoy about this one – unique drumbeats, raw guitar notes, and beautiful vocals, all of which combine into something beautifully eerie and satisfyingly unsettling. Here’s a bit more from the band about what this song means to them:

“[‘Paranoid’ is] about reading too much into peoples actions and words, and creating a twisted different meaning in your head of what was initially intended – and the realization of the own exaggeration and the feeling of guilt, but also relief that comes with this realization.”
