Must See Shows (3/19/25-3/25/25)

Thursday, March 20th @ 8pm
Kenzie Cait @ Rec Room
Erie County repatriate/Nashville-based emerging sad girlie act Kenzie Cait will be returning to the stage on Thursday. After an impressive showing last summer with her gig at Buffalo Iron Works, the city was clamoring to see the buzzing pop singer/songwriter return. Cait’s sound is familiar, as it would nestle nicely on a playlist with Taylor Swift’s later repertoire, Olivia Rodrigo, or even Chappell Roan.
Ultimately. Kenzie Cait’s discography is full of bangers that could easily super-break into the super-mainstream – the project is swelling and about to burst. This may be your last chance to see Kenzie Cait before graduating to Terminal B. $21.06 doors.
Friday, March 21st @ 8pm
Elemantra * @ Milkies
Milkies is set to host a certified bangerâ„¢ on Friday evening with a loaded local lineup that will surely be worth your $10. Filling out the lineup will be Buffalo shoegazers Elemantra *, 90s college radio era indie rockers Eugene Palmer (who you may have caught at our 2024 Holiday Party), alt-rock emos Previous Love, and lastly, emerging Fredonia heavy-hitters Bone Machine. It’s a curated opportunity for you to see what Buffalo’s local music scene is all about.
While you’re there, get one of Milkies’ homemade poppers, they’re bussin’.
Saturday, March 22nd @ 7pm
Refused @ Electric City
Swedish rock and rollers Refused come to Buffalo on Saturday night, adding the frosting to an already noteworthy early announcement of 90s indie rockers Quicksand. Refused emerged in the mid 90s and quickly made a name for themselves in the hardcore punk scene before breaking up shortly thereafter. The project eventually waned until 2012 when the quartet was asked to reunite for a one-off at Coachella. The festival gig in 2012 turned into a reemergence of the project for the past 13 years with a brand new album on the horizon.
Not to be overlooked are Quicksand, another staple of the 90s post-hardcore scene that has ALSO reunited after a hiatus in the 2000s. If you are a fan of AT the Drive-In, Snapcase, or any of the 90’s/00’s DC scene, then you’ll be set coming in at doors.
Rounding out the already impressive lineup is Dion Lunadon, an emerging jangle-pop project out of New York City that is touring of support of their new album Systems Edge. $27 buckeroos.
