Hot off a few gigs at Firefly and SXSW, Motel Radio is gearing up to release their latest EP, featuring single “Phasing Out.” Motel Radio mixes traditional indie rock fare with subtle keyboard licks – think The Shins or Young The Giant. Their songs sound warm and urgent, the result of a young band pursuing their dreams while coming to a better understanding of their place in a big, unforgiving world.
We really dig “Phasing Out.” Their next EP, Desert Surf Films, is due out August 12 via Roll Call records.
