We’ve been vibing on the low-key indie meanderings of Dallas-based recording project MAH KEE OH (aka Grahm Robinson). Robinson uses a unique recording technique using only a four-track cassette recorder and three microphones, resulting in the ultra-tight mix you hear on our latest obsession, “Twist.” Bringing to mind the dark indie rock of Pinback or early Death Cab for Cutie, “Twist” spirals through it’s four-minute existence with twinkles of melodic guitar wandering basslines, and a super soothing piano presence.
