Loving this latest one from recently-reunited quintet Lacto-Ovo. After a 20 year (yes, twenty) hiatus, they are back with Shoes & You, featuring this little jam we’re quite fond of. “Black and White Cats” has the squiggly sentiment of Casio keyboard magic intertwined with heartfelt emo/indie jangle guitars. The result is something twee, but with elements of Pile and Cursive to boot. We think this one’s a gem – check out the whole album via the Bandcamp link below.
