Something about 16-year-old wunderkind KALI already sounds like the work of a veteran recording artist. Her latest single “I Just Wanna” combines retro synthpop sounds with 2021-flavored songwriting sentiment. The result is something danceable but sophisticated. Coupled with the Stranger Things-esque aesthetic of the accompanying music video – we think this one has wide reaching appeal.
