Blond in Car – “Shaky Day (feat. Jay Som)”

---

Am I the only one who gets the Omnichord lady videos on my Instagram feed? She’s infiltrated my blogosphere now, too… But we’re happy about it, because “Shaky Day” genuinely slaps. Blond in Car is the “groovy aunt of dream-pop” in question, and with Omnichord in hand, she brings us this gauzy gem through a cloud of weed (or perhaps some bubblegum-flavored vape) smoke. Jay Som brings some added flair to this already sparkly dirge – fans of Now, Now; boygenius, or Girlpool will like this one too.

Check out the video for “Shaky Day” below – it’s also on Spotify.
