Bad Pony – “Bottles”
Sydney-based indie rockers Bad Pony impressed us with the synth-laced indie rock banger “Bottles.” Singer Jarred Young explains the meaning of the tune, stating, “‘Bottles’ is about a toxic, alcoholic relationship. It’s a lyrically co-written effort that explores frustration, infatuation, intoxication and despair.” The song itself is reminiscent of Two Door Cinema Club, The Rapture, and Bastille.
