There’s something nostalgic about the upbeat indie pop of AVIV‘s latest offering, “Black Coffee.” Maybe it’s the hints of retro mellotron strings that lace this track, or it could be AVIV’s omni-pleasant vocals… But “Coffee” is one of those perfectly hazy indie pop songs that has just enough simmering energy to put a pep in your step, just like the song’s namesake.
