Amar Miller – “Prayer 4 Ya”

---

Toledo rapper Amar Miller slid up the Great Lakes into our inbox with a silky-smooth new joint that works with any hip hop subgenre your playlist is currently favoring.

“Prayer 4 Ya” boasts a lovely piano line that serves as the perfect backdrop for the onslaught of vocals Amar tosses at you. Whether it’s rapid-fire verses, sing-songy hooks, or reverby accent sections, sonically you’re going to be satiated by this track. Neo-soul feel tenderizes that piano, and the boom-bap drums ground the track to fit into.

If you’re digging this effort from Amar, make sure to show him some love on Spotify. While you’re there, give our Best Underground Hip Hop of 2026 playlist a listen – you’ll find Amar and more talented indie artists on there. Updated every week.
