Digging this urgent psych-y rocker from NYC based trio Acid Dad, who has been kicking around the city since 2016. Lyrically, “She Only Eats Organic” is a “tongue-in-cheek look at the trendy vegan/vegetarian lifestyle combined with the day-to-day nonsense you might come across in NYC.” Musically, the band uses a noodly, psyched-out guitar riff to evoke the urgency and anxiety of the city. It’s a gritty, grungy good-time and an apt juxtaposition – one that seems perfect for Bushwick basements (and our hearts).
