“Control” feels like a big contradiction. It’s a bedroom-pop jam with great production. It’s a remix with three contributors that somehow sounds totally cohesive. It’s a slacker-esque jam with tons of tasty synth layers and genre-mashing… And we love it for its many can’t-quite-put-our-finger-on-it qualities.
