Deluxxe

Deluxxe is a new post punk/new wave band from Buffalo NY, sharing members of Oi and hardcore bands such as Violent Way, Bad Blood and Exhibition. Their punk background can be heard in the music, but it’s the love for darkwave and goth that led to creation of their debut record. Written in the cold winters of Buffalo, you can almost feel the harshness of the weather affecting the sounds that propagate from these grooves. Icy and frostbitten but somehow still relevantly civic and urban. You can tell some skinheads are involved here because the outcome is so tidy and neat, without losing one inch of atmosphere or enchantment. – Avant! Records

Elemantra

Buffalo, NY’s indie rock group Elemantra blends somber and sincere melodies with the lush aura of dream pop and shoegaze. Formed by childhood best friends Justin Woodmancy, Nick Beiling and Brent Bergstrom, the ensemble has consistently crafted creamy, reverb-drenched and infectious tunes. Talking To Shadows – Lost

Talking to Shadows continues to amaze their listeners with their second EP, aptly titled Lost. Recently released on Bandcamp and streaming everywhere on July 21st, 2023, Lost absolutely solidifies the band’s reputation as riffy shoegazers. Cat Van Glide’s ethereal vocals take off over the scenes made by Gregoire Palmer’s perplexing guitar work, whereas Ron Weldon’s driving basslines and Alex Hughes’ energetic drumming give a strong establishment for the band’s sonic investigation.
