Myles Smith (feat. Hex) – “alone.”

Through unforgivingly vulnerable vocals, the love-stricken Myles Smith speaks to those who grow stale in their room for days on end. With ever-so-delicate delivery, the London singer offers a shoulder to lean on whenever you feel “alone.” As we move closer to winter, Myles Smith’s latest drop only hits harder throughout these shorter days and longer nights. He teamed up with UK artist Hex who delivered an emotionally vicious first verse. A music video for “alone.” filmed and edited by Sean ‘SLA’ was dropped just two days after its initial release on October 14th. Belot – “Fake Phone Calls”

Coming down from London town, Belot is making quite the noise with “Fake Phone Calls…” A beautiful noise that is. The ever-so-mellow yet rapid fire delivery offers a wide range of dance moves to bust out. Belot’s voice is very distinct from contemporaries in the neighborhood of alternative rock, plus, who doesn’t love a good song about the mutual tension between two lovers of the past in denial of each other’s existence? I know I sure do. From the streets of London to the URL of buffaBLOG and everywhere in between; Belot is here to stay. Stream it on Apple Music and Spotify

Matilda Cole – “Bite Down”

“The soundtrack to teenage oblivion” is how upcoming pop artist Matilda Cole describes her catalog… And I’d say that “Bite Down,” the outro of her latest EP The High Dive, is no doubt a testament to that very statement. Iconic lines like “If you’re looking for the church baby, turn around, got an empty hearse and a hole in the ground,” display the edgy pop energy emitting from Matilda Cole’s voice. The nearly four-minute track feels like a two-minute experience due to all of the differentiation in rhythm and timbre throughout. Just about anyone is sure to bob their head and/or sway in the presence of “Bite Down” but if you’re anywhere in between the ages of 15 & 30, Matilda Cole might be your next hero. Dolores Forever – “Baby Teeth”

The London based duo Dolores Forever gave us something to listen to while riding our bikes around this summer with their latest single, “Baby Teeth.” Lyrically speaking, it’s a gentle reminder to take it easy on yourself for the people around you. Rhythmically speaking, it’ll stay stuck in your head for hours. That classic acoustic-pop aesthetic is universally flattering to the eardrums and “Baby Teeth” is sonic proof. Low Lying Sun – “Hymn To Say Goodbye”

Low Lying Sun coming in hot with the new head thrashing “Hymn To Say Goodbye.” Heed what you hear because this single makes me want to go cliff jumping and I’m afraid of heights. A heavily reverbed hook, hypergamic guitar licks, and wonderfully anticipated percussion containing just the right amount of righteousness to make anyone crave facing their fears. The rather bleak music video brings a completely different perspective from what I initially heard, in a Michael Jackson “Thriller” type sense. Hailing from London/Essex the quartet is sure to have the rest of the world raging along with them soon enough. Stream it on Spotify and Apple Music

Render Ghosts – “Keeping My Number”

Congregating from London/Utrecht, Render Ghost is giving synth pop a classical touch in real time. With the skillset of articulate composer Tom O. C Wilson, renowned singer-songwriter Tamara Van Esch, and innovative instrumentalist Iain Chambers, their latest single “Keeping My Number” can’t possibly lose. The airy vocals push the cloud-like synthesizer to achieve maximum purity. Classical synth pop is a particularly interesting genre due to the aspects it takes from both the past and the future and Render Ghosts seem to be seasoned time travelers.
