Must See Shows (8/13/25-8/19/25)

Friday, August 15th @ 6pm Big Neck Fest Day 1 @ Duende @ Silo City   Big Neck Records hosts a weekend blowout with some of the best local and touring punk bands Friday for two nights of of intensity. The label has been around since the mid-90s, debuting with 7″ releases from The Baseball Furies and The Blowtops. Now nearly 30 years later, the label still has its finger-on-the-pulse for quality punk bands that are emerging in the scene. Harrison – “Atmosphere (feat. Daniela Andrade)”

Harrison‘s “Atmosphere” is the second single off of his upcoming LP. The song features fellow Canadian and frequent collaborator Daniela Andrade. We dig the tasteful layering of vocals into the track, mixed with Harrison’s interesting ear for percussion. Sit back and let the swelling synths and stuttering drum work wash over you. Atmosphere at the Town Ballroom (3/20/18)

Last week, Atmosphere made their triumphant return to Buffalo for a near sold out show at the Town Ballroom. The producer/rap duo were not on tour for any specific record, but played material from their extremely extensive back catalog, including a bunch of tracks from their cult classic LP released in 2002, God Loves Ugly. While there were no local openers on the show,  Atmosphere’s friend and collaborator Evidence kicked things off with a great set, swiftly rapping his way through a set of tracks from his 2018 release, Weather or Not, as well as a handful of his older tracks as well.
