Jimmy Eat World at Riverworks (12/06/17)

Last week, Alternative Buffalo hosted the second night of the Kerfuffle Before Christmas at Riverworks.  They managed to land Jimmy Eat World to headline the second night, along with indie acts Børns and Saint Motel to kick things off.  This was Jimmy Eat Worlds first show in Buffalo in quite some time, and they put on a killer performance packed with songs spanning their entire discography.  They obviously treated the audience to their hits, but also gave their bigger fans some special treats in the form of deep cuts of off their more cult classic records, Futures and Clarity.  Check out some photos from the show below, shot by blog photographer, Brendan O’Connor. Kerfuffle at Canalside (06/17/17)

This past Saturday, Alternative Buffalo continued the tradition of their annual Kerfuffle festival at Canalside. The local radio station started the festival in 2014, which takes place at Canalside during the summer, and Key Bank Center in the winter. Canalside was packed to the brim, as this year’s lineup was probably their strongest yet, featuring acts such as OK Go, Frank Ferdinand, Dashboard Confessional, and more. Kerfuffle Before Christmas at the First Niagara Center (12/18/2015)

Last Friday, Alternative Buffalo hosted their second annual holiday concert, The Kerfufffle Before Christmas. This year’s show featured many notable artists  – Wolf Alice, Third Eye Blind, Matt and Kim, and Sublime tribute band, Sublime with Rome along with some radio up-and-comers SomeKindaWonderful and BØRNS sprinkled in there for good measure.  Check out the photos we snapped of radio station’s mega-holiday party.
