MOWRI – “Sow Pain into Rapture”

---

Brooklyn artist MOWRI is always pushing for new sonic experiences. The producer, percussionist, sound designer, and experimental composer cooked up an especially haunting hip hop track just in time for freaky stuff this weekend.

“Sow Pain into Rapture” is jittery. From cavernous corners of the track new voices and sounds call. The track features Fatboi Sharif and Amani Fela – Sharif contributes those cryptid vocals and Fela adds to the creepish composition. Industrial drums punctuate the otherworldly, metallic delivery of Sharif, and there are new corners to explore with each listen.

If you’re feeling “Sow Pain into Rapture,” through it on your Halloween playlist if you’re actually someone who cares about ambiance and not whether or not the song says the word “spooky” in it. You can find this track and more on our Best Hip Hop of 2026 playlist, updated each week.
