Friedberg – “Goodwife”

---

Friedberg slips into your consciousness as quickly as she darts out on the sleazy indie-pop of latest single, “Goodwife.” Inspired by her grandma who was trapped in an abusive marriage, “Goodwife” captures the ennui and acceptance of those associated feelings with quirky choreography overtop dark, bleating synths. This one was co-produced by Anna Friedberg with Daniel Brandt and Hot Chip’s Al Doyle and Joe Goddard – quite the pedigree for a fleeting 1:17.
