Tough Old Bird – “Tall Summer Clouds”

---

Tough Old Bird is having one hell of a year. Is this the summer of TOB? Or are we now in the autumn of TOB? Either way, latest single “Tall Summer Clouds” has that end-of-summer feel in spades. This is a slow burner in every sense of the word, pairing tender vocals and twangy guitar to create a breathless offering that sounds a little bit like your last romp through a field of yellowing wildflowers. Fans of Manchester Orchestra’s earlier stuff or My Morning Jacket will love this one.

“Tall Summer Clouds” can be found via the Bandcamp embed (below), or, on Spotify.
