The Stupid Reasons are here to commit, and they certainly do on latest single “Brighton.” The song details that special moment where your situationship turns into a relationship and having a “plan” as to what that might look like. Musically, this one falls somewhere between Clap Your Hands Say Yeah!, Good Old War, and The Cure – the squiggly synths and chorus pedals are very pleasantly cranked.
