Eyelid Kid – “What Happened”

Eyelid Kid, the brainchild/alter ego of Paul Addison recently released his lo-fi single “What Happened,” and we’re into it here at the Blog.

 

Throughout the track, he plays around with effects and synth bouncing off his vocals, underpinned by some light drums. It has bedroom pop vibes, but like if someone fell asleep with a Moog under their pillow (and it also turned out really good). It’s one of those introspective tracks that’s definitely not great for falling asleep to, but has the perfect amount bite to it for a Tuesday (unless you’re incapable of introspection, in which case, maybe see a therapist).
