Must See Shows (10/8/25-10/14/25)

Friday, October 10th @ 6:30pm   White Reaper @ Rec Room   Louisville, Kentucky garage-rock rascals White Reaper make their way down the Chip Strip via the Rec Room. The band is touring in support of their new album Only Slightly Empty, released on September 26th, so it’s still fresh on the shelves. If you’re a fan of PUP, The Dirty Nil, or FIDLAR, then this is your vibe.   White Reaper will be sharing the stage with NYC electro-punk act Lip Critic, Salt Lake City shoegazers Worlds Worst, and recent blog favorite Jerry Big’s World Famous Band (you may remember JBWFB as our Album of the Week earlier in 2025). Tonight: White Reaper

Tonight, the Louisville garage-rock wonders White Reaper make their way down to Chip Strip at the Rec Room. This marks their first visit back to The Queen City since 2017, so make sure you see them this time around, because it might be a while before they decide to grace us with their presence again. Sharing the stage with them are Boston-based ethereal rockers, Twen, as well as Buffalo degenerate punkers, SMUG. Doors are at 7pm, tickets are $12. Written by Mike Rakiecki

Tonight: White Reaper

  Ascendant Louisville hard rockers White Reaper headline a killer lineup tonight at the Town Ballroom with Chicago psych rock outfit Post Animal and local garage rock heroes Made Violent. In town in support of their very, very well reviewed sophomore effort The World’s Best American Band, White Reaper will be unleashing their bold, fully loaded and totally kick ass 70’s/80’s rock stylings (minus the problematic baggage) on the willing and eager faithful, while Post Animal returns to play Buffalo twice in one year having melting faces with their Sabbath meets Tame Impala jams at the Tralf in May when they opened for that ill fated and abridged Wavves show. Hometown garage rock troublemakers Made Violent, who are currently prepping for the release of new music next year and getting ready for a tour of the midwest with Ugly Sun, open the show, returning to the Town Ballroom stage that started it all,[...]
