Tonight: GRLwood

Punk rockers GRLWood are at the 9th Ward tonight to deliver their thoughtful, high energy flavor The duo visits fresh off of their sophomore album release I Sold My Soul To The Devil When I Was 12, a thematic project that touches traditional punk themes while also diving into identity and queerness. Songs build from subdued into scream pop, and GRLwood are known for their live spectacles. Buffalocals Tina Panic Noise join GRLwood on the card, piecing together a night of defiant, queer punk rock jammers. Influenced by the likes of Sleater-Kinney and Mannequin Pussy, Tina speaks, and screams, for the marginalized to be heard. Tickets go for $10 with doors at 7pm, and the show kicks off at 8pm. Preview the sound below:

Tonight: Bad Waitress

Tonight Sugar City hosts a night of serious 21st century punk rock when Toronto’s Bad Waitress rolls through town with Thick and Tina Panic Noise. Bad Waitress is rowdy, insurgent, and not playing around with your feeleings or your hangups, while Brooklyn’s Thick is all DIY punk, soaring melodies, and kicking the status quo in it’s dude-centric junk (we have it coming); and Buffalo’s Tina Panic Noise is punk rock stomping on the fingers of the dying CIS-heteronormative world unfortunately holding on for dear life well after it’s sell by date. Tickets are $12 and doors are at 7pm. Please note this is an all ages show and that Sugar City is a drug and alcohol free space. Party Bangers Volume: 1 by Bad Waitress

Tonight: Honey COMA

Honey COMA is hosting an evening of what promises to be very emotional music tonight. The trio specializes in dark, brooding indie rock with painfully introspective lyrics – case in point, debut EP 7 Songs. Joining them tonight are alt-punk, queer-core trio Tina Panic Noise and a performance from San Antōn (aka Tony Flaminio of Lemuria, Failures’ Union, and Mallwalkers fame). Tonight’s show is at Mohawk Place – doors are at 8pm. Bring $5. 7 Songs by honey COMA

Tonight: Screaming Females

Buffalo is ablaze with excitement this evening for Weird Al Yankovic’s sold-out show at UB’s Center for the Arts, St. Bonaventure’s March Madness tournament chance, and rising punk act Screaming Females’ performance at Mohawk Place. Fronted by lead shredder/singer Marissa Paternoster’s distinct style of howl singing, the rising New Brunswick-based band has been a regular go-to on the indie scene, known for their raucous and commanding sets. Screaming Females are currently on tour of support of their latest album All at Once, which came out last month via Don Giovanni records. Also on the bill are power pop act Radiator Hospital and local punks Tina Panic Noise. Doors are at 8pm with a $17 cover. Bring earplugs.

Tonight: The Lopez

Dreamland will be hosting a night of high energy noise pop/post-punk full of thrills and chills (vibes that is), tonight. Coming over from Pittsburgh, The Lopez mash together noise pop and distorted synths to create a raucous, yet dream like sound. Think if Beat Happening and the electropunk style of Nervous Gender were thrown into a music blender. Also on the bill will be Philly’s Femsplainer along with local Buffalo act, Tina Panic Noise. It should end up being a full on party, perfect for a late Tuesday night. Doors open at 7pm, bands to start going up around 8. There will be meat and vegan tacos available for a dollar so get there early, and bring $5 for the door just in case.
