Last time we checked in with LA-based act spill tab, we were pretty jazzed on their single “name.” We just couldn’t stay away… This time, we’ve fallen for “PISTOLWHIP” – a quiet/loud amalgamation of electronica beats, synth splashes, and a noise-rock influenced chorus.  Just like “name,” this one comes and goes before you know it at just over two (2) minutes in length, but we think the brevity suits the song, have a listen for yourself. Here’s a sassy kiss-off from LA-based spill tab. Taking influence from Litany and Japanese House, “name” feels like a pleasant mix of indie pop, dream-pop, and electronica. Full of lots of proverbial (and literal) eff-yous, the brutally honest lyrics of this one really hit home… But beyond that, this one is instrumentally/production-wise crisp AF at a brisk 1:49 in length.
