Jon Jon – “step into my mind”
Jon Jon is about to blow your mind with the frustrated shoegaze vibes on “step into my mind.” JJ wrote this jam about being frustrated at his job – the blood-curdling screams that start this one out confirm that. It’s led by a blown-out bassline, but eventually introduces gauzy strings, atmospheric pianos, and other instrumental flourishes that give this a notable shoegaze lean. Jon Jon is one of those one-of-a-kind artists – this one sounds like 2026 and 1996 at the same time (in a good way). “step into my mind” can be found on YouTube (embedded below), or, on Spotify and Apple Music.
