Efajemue – “Cycling”
Get a load of this drum fill to kick off the latest single from LA-based percussionist and producer Efajemue. The feel! “Cycling” is the collaborative effort from Efajemue, J3PO, and Francisco Ojeda and it’s a twinkly boom bap tracking boasting live drumming, keyboard and bass and a pocket that rewards you when you find it. Complimenting Efajemue’s drumming are some wonky keys and walking lines from J3PO and Francisco Ojeda that some smoothness to the off kilter beats. All together it feels like you’re coasting on freshly paved concrete that takes you past Jupiter. If you’re digging this instrumental outfit, make sure you take a look at these artists on Spotify.
