Crywolf – “Weight”

You might recognize Crywolf from his energetic dance music hits… If that’s the case, you might be surprised by his latest endeavor, the acoustic ballad “Weight.” Sounding a bit like Band of Horses or City and Colour, Crywolf has crafted something really beautiful here through use of gentle falsetto, layered vocal harmonies, and a plodding acoustic guitar. Definitely a good listen. Swing by iTunes and download “Weight” if you know what’s good for you. Bronze Whale – “Slow Burn (Crywolf Remix)”

Austin electronic duo Bronze Whale recently released an official remix of Crywolf’s song, “Slow Burn.” In their take on the crooner’s pop song, Bronze Whale keeps their electronic instrumentals big underneath Crywolf’s passionate delivery. Big, splashy drums and futuristic sounding synths pepper the rest of the track, resulting in a high-energy bass track with a modern flavor. Bronze Whale is offering their remix for free right now – head over to their Soundcloud page for a download of “Slow Burn.” [soundcloud url=”https://api.soundcloud.com/tracks/271571847″ params=”color=ff5500&auto_play=false&hide_related=false&show_comments=true&show_user=true&show_reposts=false” width=”100%” height=”166″ iframe=”true” /]
