Tonight: Bayside

Legendary punk act Bayside is making a special acoustic appearance tonight at The Tralf. After the success of their first acoustic EP (released over 10 years ago now!), Bayside has returned with a fresh new batch of acoustic takes on both fan-favorite songs and a few deep cuts. Rather than a simple acoustic take, fans should expect a complete re-imagining of these songs. Joining them tonight are special guests, GOLDS. Tonight’s show is $25 at the door. Doors open at 8pm, music starts at 9pm. This particular show is 21+, but 16+ can get in with a parent.

Bayside at the Town Ballroom (5/10/17)

Last week, a very sold out Town Ballroom was completely packed for NYC emo/punk act Bayside. It was packed for a good reason though, as Bayside, who are still on tour for their new 2016 LP, titled Vacancy, brought along the timeless Say Anything for the ride, along with Buffalo based legacy act Reggie and the Full Effect. With Reggie and the Full Effect having all four members of local pop punk act Pentimento as a backing band, it only makes sense that they surprise the crowd and played a song as well. All three bands played their classics as well as the deep cuts, and it still felt like the crowd knew every word to all of the songs. Tonight, Bayside is playing at the Waiting Room… But fans of Bayside probably already know that – they refer to themselves as a cult. For those Buffalonians who haven’t been indoctrinated yet, think passionate pop-punk/emo with a monster discography a la Saves the Day or Alkaline Trio. Just make sure you keep an eye out for rabid fans. The ex-The Movielife stalwarts in I Am The Avalanche and Seaway will be opening up the show tonight. $19 gets you in at 6:30.
