We’ve been digging this eccentric tune all the way from South London – Uncanny Valley Girls play around with a plucky twang on their latest offering, “Knight of Cups.” This leans somewhere into the alt-country/Americana vibe – think Wilco and Bruce Springsteen with a hint of dream-pop flavor (think maybe Beach House). There’s just something… Uplifting, yet mysterious about this song; it certainly has a “down-home” vibe, but with all the energy of a 2021 dreampop tune. Either way, we’re intrigued, and that’s enough for us to say, “hey, this one deserves a listen!”
