Tonight: Bleachers

It’s too facile to call Bleachers merely a side project of fun. guitarist Jack Antonoff (or, if you’re a Girls fan, the lover of Lena Dunham). The young band (conceived and developed during his touring with fun.) was launched into fame largely on the heels of lead single “I Wanna Get Better” – a jubilant and irresistibly catchy piece of audio-therapy, with its sunny sound suggesting Antonoff will be just fine. Kerfuffle at Canalside (7/26/14)

This past Saturday, Buffalo’s infant radio station, Alternative Buffalo 107.7, debuted their inaugural Kerfuffle on a crowd of thousands down at Canalside in spectacular fashion. The one-day music festival had a lot going in its favor that day: nearly rain free weather (Artpark was shaking its head all night), a bill of fresh and relevant acts (something that normally does not go hand in hand with summer music here in the city), and a revitalized waterfront that continues to provide the perfect back drop to many summer nights in Buffalo. Now, for a full review of Kerfuffle, read Ryan Wolf’s review here, but if you prefer a more visual recap, contributing photographer Andy Deluca was on hand capture all of the action and energy on Kerfuffle’s stage.
