The Salt Lake City quartet known as Strawberry Cough has breached the surface with their debut single, “My Song 19.” Broken into several sections, their first single impressively sounds more like an all-encompassing EP. The breakdown section halfway through likely draws from their inspiration of the Beatles as it gives off the energy of a field of hippies all swaying in unison. The concluding electric guitar solo is what “Hotel California’s” guitar solo would’ve sounded like if you were to go back in time to give Joe Walsh a double dose of steroids.
