NY’s Noshows has found the perfect way to cope with their anxiety on their latest offering, “Wait It Out.” Upon first listen, you might notice the dreamy guitar tones and slackeresque vocal delivery, but deeper down, you’ll notice that “Wait” is actually a tightly-wound track. Big, springy drums help push this one past dream-pop and into a bit more of an urgent space… But the tasty juxtaposition of taking-it-easy versus an undercurrent of anxiousness is what really takes this one to the next level.
