Brooke Bentham is a 19-year-old songstress with a big voice. We’ve been jamming “Oliver,” a track Bentham penned when she was merely sixteen, a time when naïvety and love are almost synonymous. Most importantly, “Oliver” features Bentham’s breathtaking vocals (falling somewhere between Adele and Bon Iver) overtop a sparse, orchestrated arrangement. There are some singer-songwriters whose delivery can stop people in their tracks. Simply put, Bentham is one of them.
