Brooding new wave quartet 8/7 Central are propelling the release of their debut EP with a new single, “Missile.” The track captures the sweeping finesse of alt rock, bringing in gravelly vocals, light distortion, and a bass line that refuses to quit. At the same time, it has a dreamy, calming quality to it, even when musing over hurtling into the sun. The band is a proud multinational endeavor, with members from the US, Germany, and Sweden finding their home base in Brooklyn.
